SGM CECIL WALL

Story By DOUGLAS S. RINKER (2001)

Hello, I'm former Cadet Captain and Battalion S-4 Douglas Rinker. I recently graduated on May 20th 2001 and would like to share a story with all my fellow alumni.

It's about the current Alpha Company TAC Officer, SGM Cecil Wall. Although it may not be a great story I just wanted to let you all know that he did more for me than any other person at LWMA.

I could always look forward to coming back from a weekend and him asking me for money. Of course I always gave him something whether it be a dime or a dollar.

I distinctly remember the first day back for my senior year. When he saw me he practically jumped on me he was so excited! I'm almost seven feet tall and he dragged to the barracks to room 110 and showed me my brand new bed!

This may not be the greatest story and I know it does not make much sense, but the point I'm trying to get across is to never forget the adults at LWMA.

Thank you for welcoming me to the Alumni Association on May 20, 2001.

Sincerely,
Doug Rinker, Class of 2001
